On a Wednesday night in 2021, Dalia was sitting in the Yeshiva University library. Eli Jonah, an ambitious content creator filming videos spontaneously walked up to her and asked a question that little did they know, would change the course of their life.
Eli Jonah would ask strangers around the world “What can I do to make you happy?” without them knowing, he would fulfill their wish. His social media series would take place across the globe from Montreal, New York, Morocco, Malta, Israel to Dubai and now Yeshiva University’s library.
Nevertheless, with some work and creativity, Eli posted the video online and it went explosively viral, landing in the hands of over 10 MILLION PEOPLE!!
Eli Jonah needed to get Dalia to join his tech and media startup. Dalia was surprised when her first HR interview with him at Starbucks covered everything about her personal life but... nothing about the startup?
Two months into working together, Dalia suddenly received a text at 12:35am that Eli Jonah was on his way to her dorm. Dalia, after being disrupted from her sleep, and taken to a hotel lobby, was told by Eli Jonah: “I Want To Marry You”.
Speechless and overwhelmed by his conviction, and entire plan for their future all mapped out — she says “NO” and Eli Jonah convinces her that they should reassess at a later time.
After losing contact with each other, on a plane home to Hollywood, Los Angeles, Eli Jonah had a vivid epiphany to call Dalia and urge her to fly to Israel and attend a specific seminary.
He couldn't believe when she said that she was in Israel and contemplated a program like this in the past.
At that moment Eli Jonah knew — God Himself, was paving the way for them.
From the moment they reconnected, Eli Jonah already knew what had to be done if they would one day get engaged— Give her ONE MILLION PUPPIES.
